Opening Statement

This isn't your normal job posting. Can you tell by the job title? We looked through a bunch of comparable jobs and it made us sad. Most of these job listings are "canned" and full of buzzwords. If we were looking for a new job these posts wouldn't excite us. So, here is our attempt to find you... the right person for our team. There is only one of you out there and we are looking forward to meeting you. Please read ahead and follow the instructions or this won't get very far.

A Day in the Life

Morning Preparation (6:30 AM - 7:00 AM)

Start your day reviewing scheduled tasks and preparing tools. Your focus is on the effective communication of needed repairs.

Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs (7:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Perform inspections and diagnostics on vehicles, focusing on electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems. Utilize vehicle computer systems for failure interpretation and repair assignment.

Lunch Break (12:00 PM - 12:30 PM)

Take time for lunch and a brief rest.

Afternoon Tasks (12:30 PM - 4:00 PM)

Handle service calls for emergency repairs and conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment. Complete necessary paperwork for repairs, documenting parts and labor.

End of Day (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Finalize tasks, ensuring a high level of independence and productivity. Maintain good relationships with customers and vendors, and manage your tools and workspace for the next day.

  • You have at least three years of mechanical experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Our hourly pay ranges from X to X, depending on your experience.  We will support your training and development every step of the way.

Candidate Key Qualifications
